The first site to visit in Belgorod-Dnestrovsky is town's medieval-style fortress. The fortress and its natural surroundings of rocks and water offer a magnificent view. The ancient rampart is about a mile and a half long, the walls are 16 to 50 feet tall and up to 16 feet thick. The initial wall got well preserved.
